1. Who we are
This website is run by Sampaati Cybersecurity Consultancy Services LLP (LLP Identification No. AAX-6357), with its head office in Mumbai, India ("Sampaati", "we", "us"). For anything about your personal data, email info@sampaati.in.
2. What we collect
We only collect personal data that you choose to send us:
- Business enquiry form (Contact page): your name, company, work email, phone number (optional), the service you are interested in, company size (optional) and your message.
- Job application form (Careers page): your name, email, phone number, the position, qualification, college or university, skills, a short note about yourself and your résumé.
- Emails and calls: whatever you share when you contact us directly.
The C-DAC SSDLCP registration buttons take you to C-DAC's own registration forms on cforms.in. Data you enter there is collected by C-DAC under its own policies.
3. How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and discuss or provide our services.
- To assess your job or internship application and contact you about it.
- To keep records we are required to keep by law.
We process this data because you gave your consent by ticking the consent box and submitting the form. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for marketing without asking you first.
4. Who we share it with
Our forms are delivered by FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), which passes your submission to our email inboxes (info@sampaati.in for enquiries, hr@sampaati.in for job applications) and sends you an automatic confirmation. Apart from service providers that help us run this website and our email, we only share personal data when the law requires it.
5. How long we keep it
We keep enquiries and applications only for as long as we need them for the purpose above, or as long as the law requires, and then delete them. You can ask us to delete your data sooner (see section 8).
6. Cookies and browser storage
This website does not use advertising, tracking or analytics cookies. The Cyber News page saves the latest headlines and vulnerability list in your browser's local storage so the page loads faster next time. This stays on your device, is never sent to us, and can be removed by clearing your browser's site data.
7. Other services this website uses
Like most websites, some pages load content from other services. When they do, your browser sends those services your IP address as part of the normal request:
- Google Fonts and cdnjs (fonts and icons), on every page.
- The Cyber News page loads headlines from the news publishers listed on that page, partly through the rss2json service, and CISA's vulnerability list from GitHub.
- On the Security Tools page, only when you click the relevant button: Cloudflare DNS (email security checker, which receives the domain you enter); Have I Been Pwned (leaked password check, which receives only the first 5 characters of a scrambled version of the password, and company breach lookup, which receives the website address you enter); XposedOrNot (email breach checker, which receives the email address you enter); the US National Vulnerability Database, CVE.org and FIRST (CVE lookup, which receive the CVE number you enter); Mozilla Observatory (website security grade, which receives the website address you enter and scans that website); and ipapi.co or ipify (IP lookup). The QR code scam check reads the image on your device; the image is never uploaded, although the QR reading software may be downloaded from cdnjs.cloudflare.com the first time you use it. All other tools run entirely in your browser. These services handle what you enter under their own privacy policies.
8. Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
- correct, complete or update it;
- delete it, or withdraw your consent;
- nominate someone to act for you in case of death or incapacity.
Email info@sampaati.in with your request. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. No method of sending or storing data over the internet is completely secure, so please avoid sending highly sensitive information (such as passwords or bank details) through our forms.
10. Children
This website is not aimed at children. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to contact us before you share any personal data.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
